L’Harmonie des Rapides I: the first building in Gatineau to receive LEED© Canada For Homes certification
On July 4th, 2011, in the company of Gatineau mayor Marc Bureau, Terra Verde received LEED© Certification for its environmentally friendly condos located at 40 Martel Street in the Aylmer sector. What a fantastic achievement to mark our Open House activity!
The magazine La Maison du 21e siècle – le magazine de la maison saine dedicated an entire article to Terra Verde Developments in its Spring 2011 issue. The article is titled “Terra Verde mise sur la qualité.”

On Friday, September 3rd, Mayor Marc Bureau turned over the first sod to mark the beginning of a new, green condominium project on Jacques-Cartier Street in the Gatineau sector. To carry out this environmentally friendly project, the home construction company Terra Verde is benefitting from a $20,000 grant on behalf of the provincial government and the City of Gatineau.
The City of Gatineau is proud to announce the groundbreaking of the first LEED© Canada For Homes project subsidized by the city as part of its Rénovation Québec program. This eco-friendly residential project located at 675 Jacques-Cartier Street is the first to be awarded this grant.

Terra Verde is delighted to have the support from the City of Gatineau for its eco-friendly building project Le Jacques-Cartier
As a homebuilder, Terra Verde is committed to the construction of environmentally friendly residences and, with its most recent project Le Jacques-Cartier, will be the first Gatineau construction business to benefit from financial incentives offered by the city in its effort to encourage green construction in certain neighbourhoods.
A neighbourhood dock able to moor eight boats was unveiled Wednesday evening along the Jacques-Cartier Street waterfront, near the intersection of Blais Street in the Gatineau sector.
The City of Gatineau and the NCC are working together to improve the waterfront area of Jacques-Cartier Street between Lady Aberdeen Bridge and Saint-Louis Street in Gatineau. The project aims to enhance the quality of life for residents as well as the visitor experience.
Le journal Le Droit, de la région Ottawa-Gatineau, consacre une page d’actualité au RADON. Le radon est un gaz radioactif, que l’on retrouve dans certains sol. Il est la 2e cause la plus importante du cancer du poumon.
Terra Verde prévoie, dans chacune de ses constructions, des mesures de prévention pour empêcher que le radon s’infiltre dans ses maisons.
